Bestland opened to offer a different goodbye: one filled with confidence, not guilt. Our goal is a no-stress, no-anxiety drop-off, with home-like comfort, joyful play, and caregivers who share the fun. Dream bigger, stay longer, and make those memories. Dogs deserve more than crates, cages, and confinement. They deserve people who know them. Our peaceful, family-run retreat spans 40 acres between Rome and Cartersville. Five acres of play areas offer over ten spacious paddocks, two large playgrounds, and indoor spaces for large and small dogs.

Flowers, trees, obstacles, play structures, a zip line, and picnic tables create a park-like escape. Every paddock has shade and a raised deck. Fresh water stations, new fencing, and winter grass planting keep spaces inviting. Playground phases one and two are complete; phase three is coming!

Weather permitting, dogs move between indoor and outdoor spaces, with more playtime than indoor downtime. Short room breaks twice daily reflect age, health, and family instructions. Large-playground adventures happen two to three times daily, Monday through Friday. Weekends bring lighter schedules with plenty of engagement. Evening outdoor time continues after 6 p.m. until dark—sometimes 9 p.m. or later on long summer days!

Raised beds, marble walls, and easy-to-clean flooring welcome tired paws. Families often call ours among the cleanest, most beautiful facilities they’ve visited. Specialized foods stay refrigerated. Three heating and cooling systems provide backup capacity; spray foam and fiberglass insulation support comfort. Multiple fencing layers, 24/7 on-site care, and round-the-clock surveillance offer added reassurance.

Jeremy and Marcela Best and their four boys mow, clean, and join the playground fun. Katie, Christine, Allie, Michelle, and Jorge support care, management, and maintenance. Highly experienced groomer Lexie helps dogs look and feel wonderful.
