What inspired you to start this business or what inspired the founders to begin this business? 

To serve the health needs of our community.

How does your business give back and support the Rome-Floyd community? 

We conduct a Community Health Needs Assessment every 3 years to identify the top health needs where we can move the needle. We are currently working on impacting mental health, heart disease and stroke and access to care. Additionally, we partner with TRED to get more folks moving outdoors on our trail system, we host community education health events with a variety of partners, and we help with hunger in partnership with NWGA Hunger Ministries and the YMCA. We provide free healthcare with the Free Clinic of Rome.

Why is it important to you and your business to be a chamber member?

It is essential for us to be a chamber member to help us know more about the community we serve and the people that make this place great. We appreciate the support the Chamber in helping us celebrate our recent openings and look forward to continuing to celebrate the wins of other businesses in our community.

What makes your business stand out amongst the rest?

We are a faith-based system anchored in whole-person care, which means we aim to address the entire person, not just the disease or injury

We all know owning/running a business can be hard.

What is a recent highlight that shows the hard work is worth it?

This month, we opened our newest building, the AdventHealth Cancer Pavilion Rome, and it was incredible to see so many of our Chamber and business friends come out to support this expansion. Opening a new service is incredibly complex and difficult work but it is so worth it to see the lives touched and healed!

What is the best business advice that you have ever been given?

Don't be scared to talk about yourself. :) 

What's next for your business?

We are opening several additional clinics in Rome over the next 6-9 weeks, hosting a free community concert (Sept 19, Night of Hope), and are starting to plan for Christmas. I know, it's July right?
