Dr. Abby White’s Professional Bio

For the past 14 years, I have been dedicated to providing compassionate veterinary care and surgical excellence to the Rome, GA community. After graduating from Mississippi State University in 2012 I worked in Jackson, MS for 1 year then began my career at Mount Berry Animal Hospital in 2013.  At Mount Berry, I spent over a decade performing diverse medical procedures and overseeing essential operations, including staff management and inventory control.

In 2016, I helped establish the Northwest Georgia Veterinary Center, Rome’s dedicated emergency animal hospital, where I later served as a board member and co-owner until its sale in 2024. After my tenure at Mount Berry, I served as a relief veterinarian at various veterinary clinics, gaining a unique and well-rounded perspective on veterinary practice management.

In 2024, my fiancé, Ben, and I realized our dream of opening our own practice, Etowah Animal Hospital. I am thrilled to embark on this new chapter, and I look forward to continuing my service to our local community, reconnecting with familiar faces, and welcoming new patients to our practice.
